At Heelstone Energy, we are committed to creating lasting value for the communities we serve. The Murch Solar project isn’t just about renewable energy; it’s about reinvesting in people, places, and public resources.
We’ve developed a series of community-focused initiatives to ensure the area surrounding the Murch Solar Project experiences real, tangible benefits.

Road Maintenance

Heelstone will be maintaining key roads near the project site.

Tax Revenue Benefits

A PILT agreement was reached at $2,000/MW that will be given to Lawrence Township, in addition to a Community Host Agreement at $2k/MW. Thus, Murch will pay over $7 million in property taxes to Lawrence Township over the lifetime of the project.

Vegetative Screening

Our vegetative screening will incorporate trees and shrubs to soften the appearance of the solar farm to neighbors and community members who frequent the roads alongside the project.

Check out the site plan to see where we will have vegetative screening.
